Senior Care Alternative was established in 2002 by Linda Wilson and was one of the first of its kind here in Wilmington, NC.   You could say that Linda’s idea was on the cutting edge - Most people were unaware that non medical services were available in the Wilmington area, and most did not understand the need. 

Linda understood the need.  She was compelled to offer these services based on her own personal struggles to find a reliable, compassionate person to aide in the caretaking of her aging mother and for a brief time for herself.

In the last five years, Senior Care Alternative has seen the industry go from virtually an unknown to a booming service as the population has grown in age and understanding.  The competition has emerged, but Senior Care Alternative remains unchanged.
